Finding your color
Check the driver door jamb first — your code is on a factory sticker there most of the time. You can also find it under the hood, in the glove box, or in the trunk.

We mix to your factory paint code for the closest OEM-style match. Older paint may have faded slightly from sun or age, so test in an inconspicuous spot when you can.
Order using your factory paint code, not the color name. Manufacturers use many names for the same code, and the same name can mean different formulas across brands. If you only have a name, use our vehicle finder or contact us — we will help you locate the correct code before we mix your paint.
If we mixed a different code than you ordered, or the product arrives damaged or defective, we replace it or refund it under our returns policy. A correct mix of the code you ordered is not a defect when the panel was painted with another code, repainted, or faded. Verify the code on the door jamb sticker before ordering.
Yes — cars, trucks, SUVs, motorcycles, vans, and fleet vehicles, as long as you have the correct factory paint code.
Products & kits
Touch-up pens, brush bottles, aerosols, basecoat, clearcoat, primer, and prep supplies — chosen for your repair size and experience.
- Touch-Up Pen — $17.99
- Brush Bottle — $27.95
- Aerosol — $35.99
Most kits include factory-matched paint, clearcoat, applicators, prep wipes, and sandpaper on select kits. Contents vary by product.
Yes. Modern finishes use basecoat/clearcoat. Clearcoat protects color, adds gloss, and improves durability. Without it, the repair will look dull and wear faster.
Some factory colors use a basecoat, a translucent midcoat (often pearl), and clearcoat for depth and sparkle. We mix to your factory code for the system your color requires. Unsure if your color is tricoat? Contact us with your code before ordering.
Yes — primers, clearcoats, prep wipes, sandpaper, and related accessories are available.

Application & repair
Yes. Practice the full steps on cardboard or a hidden area first — prep, paint, and clearcoat. That is the easiest way to avoid runs, heavy build, or wrong technique on visible body panels.
Small chips on solid colors can blend very well. Metallic, pearl, and larger repairs may still show on close inspection.
Pens and bottles are best for small damage; aerosols cover larger areas more evenly. Touch-up is still worth doing — exposed metal can rust.
Yes, on properly prepared metal and plastic. Use the right adhesion promoter and primer on bumpers and trim for best results.
Typical times (varies with temperature and thickness):
- Touch dry: 15–30 minutes
- Recoat: 20–60 minutes
- Full cure: 24–48 hours
Apply in dry conditions out of direct sun. Spray products need warmer temperatures than pens or bottles.
Remove wax, silicone, and oils from the repair area before painting. Wait at least 30 days after touch-up before waxing so the new paint can fully cure.
Pens and bottles are built for easy DIY repairs. Aerosols and larger formats suit bigger areas or more experienced users.
Common issues
Metallic and pearl colors are harder to blend with a pen or brush because the flakes do not lay like factory spray. Thick or repeated coats can also look darker. Use the smallest product that fits the damage, apply thin layers, and consider an aerosol for larger metallic areas.
Peeling usually means poor adhesion — wax or oil left on the surface, no primer on bare metal or plastic, or paint applied too thick. Clean with prep solvent or wax remover, scuff the area, use primer where metal or plastic is exposed, and apply thin coats.
