Step by step
Prep and mask
Clean, sand, and prime as needed for your repair. Mask glass, trim, and adjacent panels. Confirm your factory paint code before spraying.
Strain and load the gun
Ready to spray professional basecoat. Do not add reducer. Strain the paint before pouring it into the gun cup.
Apply light coats
Set gun pressure and fan for even coverage. Apply overlapping passes in thin coats, allowing flash time between coats until coverage is uniform.
Clearcoat and cure
Apply clearcoat per your system’s instructions after the basecoat has flashed. Allow full cure before polishing or heavy washing.
Pro tips
- This format is intended for spray-gun use—not touch-up pens or brush bottles.
- Order enough volume for your repair size; starting sizes begin at 16 fl oz.
