How to use
How to use a brush-in bottle
Brush bottles cover slightly larger damage than a pen. Use the built-in brush like a small artist brush and build color slowly.
Best for
Scuffs and chips up to about a quarter in size.

Step by step
Prep the damage
Clean the area, dry it, and lightly feather any loose paint with fine sandpaper (1500–2000 grit) if needed. Wipe dust away with alcohol.
Load the brush lightly
Dip just the tip of the brush—too much paint causes runs. Wipe excess on the bottle neck if needed.
Fill the chip in stages
Brush paint into the low spots first. Let each coat dry before the next. Two or three thin coats usually beat one heavy coat.
Blend and finish
When the repair is flush with the panel, let it cure 24–48 hours. Apply clearcoat per label directions if included.
Pro tips
- Brush across the chip, not along the edge of the panel, to avoid visible brush marks.
- If the scratch is deep, a matching primer layer may help before color.
- See our FAQ for how much paint you need before ordering a second bottle.
